EVELYN VALENTINE
Artist

I am a fervent artist and creator, dedicated to the importance of the arts and its impact on the past and future. I use graphite pencil to capture the likeness, as accurately and detailed as my eyes will allow me. With the fine strokes of my brush and a pallet of paint, I narrate the faces of the young, the old, the lives and the loved. I have a penchant for the classical, with a keen interest in realism and genre painting. Influenced by the likes of Rubens, John Everett Millais, Joseph Clement Cole and Katsuhiro Otomo to name a few. I look to share my passion and knowledge with those who are equally as impassioned as I. Passing thoughts: I do not always find myself quoting Winston Churchill, but it has its time and its place, and in the world we live in I feel it appropriate. “I have no fear of the future. Let us go forward into its mysteries, let us tear aside the veils which hide it from our eyes, and let us move onward with confidence and courage.” With the demonisation of AI, I feel people could learn to relax a little, and remember that there is a world to be found outside of a computer screen.
